Welcome to Launder in Love! By booking and using our child gear cleaning services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Launder in Love is excited to now offer a service that provides you with clean, safe, child gear so you can breeze through your day to day adventures with peace of mind. However, we also understand the level of trust that you are putting into us in caring for your little ones gear. We have set these Terms and Conditions to guarantee a mutual understanding between us and the customer prior to any service being completed.

General Acknowledgement

  • By scheduling, booking, or utilizing our cleaning services, you (“Client”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions outlined in this agreement. This agreement applies to all services provided.

  • Client acknowledges that they are the legal owner or authorized user of the car seat, booster, stroller, or wagon that has been submitted for cleaning.

Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Remove all personal belongings from items prior to pickup.

  • Disclose any pre-existing damage, defects, or concerns.

  • Ensure items are structurally sound and safe for handling.

  • Understand manufacturer guidelines may vary and not all stains or odors are guaranteed to be fully removed.

Safety & Reinstallation

We do NOT:

  • reinstall any car seat, base, or booster into vehicles.

  • adjust harness systems to fit child.

  • provide safety inspections or certifications.

  • provide service to any product that is deemed to expired our outside of the recommended window of use as outlined in that products specific guidelines/manual.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure proper installation and safety compliance after service. It is encouraged that client seek support from a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician if needed.

Risk of Damage

While we take extreme care in the handling and cleaning of all items:

  • cleaning may reveal hidden damage, mold, weakened straps, or compromised materials.

  • some fabrics, dyes, or components may react unpredictably to cleaning.

  • older or heavily soiled items carry a higher risk of wear during cleaning.

By using our services, the client acknowledges and accepts these risks.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for:

    • pre-existing damage

    • structural or mechanical failure

    • manufacturer defects

    • wear and tear resulting from normal cleaning processes as outlined in products manual

  • We are not responsible for any injury, incident, or misuse of cleaned items after they are returned.

  • The client assumes full responsibility for ensuring the continued safety and usability of the item.

  • Under no circumstance should Launder in Love be liable for:

    • indirect, incidental, or consequintal damages.

    • loss of use of any item.

Stain & Odor Disclaimer

  • We do not guarantee complete removal of:

    • stains

    • odors

    • mold or mildew

  • some stains may be permanent due to age, material, or prior treatment attempts

Right to Refusal

We reserve the right to:

  • refuse service for items with excessive mold, bodily fluids, pests, or hazardous contaminents.

  • stop cleaning if such conditions are discovered during service.

  • refuse service if items are found to be in extreme unsafe condition or expired.

Additional fees may apply if accepted at our discretion.

Post-Care Instructions

  • items may require extended drying time.

  • slight dampness may remain upon return.

  • client agrees to allow proper drying before use.

  • items that are returned in a plastic bag should be removed no more than 6 hours after delivery to prevent mold, mildew, or moisture buildup.

We are not responsible for issues resulting from improper drying after return.

Pricing & Payment

  • Pricing is based on service type, load size, and any add-ons.

  • Payment is due upon delivery - invoice should be paid no later than 24 hours after notification of delivery.

  • We reserve the right to adjust pricing if the load size or service differs from what was originally booked.

Lost or Damaged Items

  • In the rare event of a loss or damage caused by our service, liable is limited to fair market value, not replacement cost.

  • Any concerns must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Pickup & Delivery

  • Customers must provide a safe and accessible location for pickup and drop-off. We reserve the right to refuse pickup & delivery options if a safe location is not provided.

  • We are not responsible for items left unattended after delivery if contactless drop-off is requested.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Please provide as much notice as possible for cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments will be rescheduled as available, and we can not guarantee your preferred reschedule time.

  • Repeated cancellations may result in refusal of future service.

Communication & Privacy

  • By booking with Launder in Love, you agree to receive communication regarding your service (confirmation, updates, etc.) via text, call, or email.

  • We respect your privacy. Your personal information will only be used for booking, communication, and service fulfillment. We do not share your information with third parties.

Changes to Terms & Agreement

  • Launder in Love reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any change to these Terms and Conditions.

  • By booking a service with Launder in Love, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
